Cheltenham Festival 2021 – The Build-Up
-
Cheltenham Festival gets underway on Tuesday 16th March 2021 folks and it’s undoubtedly one of the highlights of the matched betting calendar!
If you want to take full advantage then you’ll want to make sure you’re up to speed on all the common offer types that are likely to come up – particularly price boost, extra place and back a winner offers. If you haven’t done them in a while, it’s time to refresh your memory and get into the swing of them so you’re ready when the big offers come.
You can bag a £10 free bet each Saturday in the run up to Cheltenham with this offer. You just need to bet £20 on horse racing, so it’s a nice easy starter to get the ball rolling.
Please feel free to post any other Cheltenham offers here in the run up to the Festival. I’ve added separate threads for each of the 4 days, ready for when the action gets underway!
It’s time to start building up your bankroll!

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

+1Just opened an account with Bet Bull, bet £10 get £30 in free bets, plus a free bet up to £20 each day of the festival if your first bet on each days racing loses. No minimum odds on opening bet and you can bet on singles not just accas for your qualifying bet. Just hoping there is no waiting catch that I have missed. Got the link through oddschecker.
+0Paddy Power – 3 x £5 free bets to use on the following races…
Tuesday 16th March – Supreme Novices Hurdle (13:20)
Wednesday 17th March – Ballymore Novices Hurdle (13:20)

+1Might be worth contacting live chat about this. I did so today and the woman (very poor English it seemed), kept saying the chelt insured bet only counts for accas rather than singles? Terms don’t suggest this at all but she kept saying it applies. May be worth looking into. Hoping she was just wrong / struggling to understand me.
+0Is that with Bet Bull? Sounds fishy. Could be worth screenshotting T&Cs now
+0I placed the qualifying bet and they awarded me a 10 bet, which I could use on anything, then no more, I contacted them to ask why and they apologised and added to 2 free £10 bets to my account but it seemed only valid on doubles or better, I did not push it and just placed them on doubles, as I only had a 50 pence qualifying bet loss. Dont know how they will honour the Cheltenham offer. I will give it a go on the first day and see what happens.
+0Also, there is a Ladbrokes offer for £5 free bet on Tuesday. Not much but every little helps 🙂
+1Sportingbet doing MoneyBack as Cash on the first race each day up to £10 🙂
+0Bet Bull – I keep seeing the £100 new customer offer with them rather than Cheltenham. On the face of it this looks even better but I’m cautious because Bet Bull does look a bit dodgy.
+0I think the betbull free bet rules are 2.0 odds and above.
