What are people’s expectations for profit? What did you make last year?

Anyone know if the WH or other double winnings is available in shop?

I’m thinking if it is you could back just about the entire field as you’re only going to collect once.

Edit : Not available in shops for wH

The only I’ve one seen as shop so far is paddy and checked the main one’s

I think the others like coral will do things like BOG and some kind money back in shop offer, but nothing great

Don’t remember what I made last yr, most of my expected earnings this yr will be underlayed each way bets so I’m in the hands of variance
Already made more in March than either Jan or Feb… (Which admittedly was a lot less than I was hitting last yr) so want to enjoy the horse racing side and going for 1 day again this yr rather than worrying too much about profit.

Bazza, for me it’s just a case of targetting the fave if betting win only. Close match on the day. For example £50 at 3.0/3.0, either gives you a 5.0/3.0 arb worth £33ish or 33% chance of the risk free £100.
As opposed to say backing £10 on a 11.0/11.0 shot which which will only be worth less than a tenner or 9% chance of the £100.

This could change if there’s any value in the place market then ew could be best strategy.

Also a good idea to combine offers accross bookies on the same horse.

Double winnings and money back for losers at different sites guarantee a profit.

How would I calculate odds in order to lock in profit for the William Hill offer?

You just need double the odds. Make sure you bet to win £100 at original odds though.

    New customer offer for SportNation,
Bet £25 get a £2.50 free bet for all 28 races at Cheltenham festival.

If you can be bothered extracting that’s £50ish, I shall be punting each one though for time reasons and seeing as though it’s basically free.

Must sign up before 11th and use promo code. free bets credited at 10am each day.

Word of advice, apparently the original £25 needs 6x wagering deposit before being able to withdraw. Very misleading in the terms and conditions as it doesn’t state this. When you click ‘full terms and conditions here’, it takes you to a completely different sign up offer, one which does require 6x wagering. However from what other people are saying this does too apparently.
Basically just pray you lose to the exchange in your first bet, save you all the hassle

Thats quite a good offer for a bit of punting fun, dont have an account so I’ll open up 2 or 3 and cover 3 horses per race.

So it’s just the 25 that needs rolling over? 150 not much of an issue if it comes to it.

    Will join too, Cheers.

Jelf99, i should have added, double the decimal odds then minus 1 to give you your new odds. Incase you were unsure.

Jelf99, maths behind the Hills offer

To work out your stake. 100/(odds-1)
So 5.0 would be 5-1=4. 100/4=25. So you would stake £25.

To calculate your odds with double winnings. odds-1×2+1
So 5.0 would be 5-1=4×2=8+1=9. So you would use odds of 9.0 in the calculator as your back odds and lay odds as normal.

Worth noting that the offer includes double winnings on e/w bets as well.

Cheers tayls will be signing up, pretty much the same as the betvictor offer last year which made me £70 from punting £2 free bet on each race
