Who’s made the most? Or who’s made a big cock up? Anyways we all love to gawp at the free money so comment your total for day 1.
I’m a £100 up after doing the skybet offer, £30 in FBs from WH, the betfair offer twice, and but I only hit 2 2nd place refunds.

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Fairly successful day (for a 1st timer!)…. up £325 on Day 1, this does include 1 x BetFair £75 refund and a couple of Welcome offers so very happy chappy.
Bring on Day 2! Think tomorrow will be a little less frantic by the looks of it, although a little concerned how depleted my float is already.
Happy hunting folks!
+0I reckon I only made £40-50
Hit 1 Betfair winner but overlaid so only made about £6
Got 2 wins and 2 3rd places with Will HillHoping for better luck with the 2nd places tomorrow
+0£25 free bets from Sky, Paddys and Hills
£15 from the Corals offer and £25 between Net bet and 10bet too.
So should be able to extract about £100 from that, after qualifying losses maybe about £85
Not as much as a few but still exceeded my expectations
+0Ahhh the good ol’ willy waving thread! I’m estimating c.£350 for the day.
I had £285 in free bets (including the pre earned Hills/Coral bets) which have all been staked throughout the day on long shots. All except the 3x£5 mullins bets from Coral. I’m estimating >90% extraction so £265. Total max qualifying losses shouldn’t have exceeded £12 per race so -£84 (overestimating this)
Add to that at least £150-£200 from underlaying various boosts: Coral and betfreds preview nights, betfair/paddy pushes, freds/totes pushes this morning plus early morning grids arbs. Got lucky really with vroum vroum, douvan and annie power all romping home as I underlayed the lot.
Today was far too busy to keep accurate records though. I’m just gonna tally up all my account totals at the end of the festival.
+0Hit the target of 250 and still cheesed off. Lost over 100 in errors where I didn’t lay a few horses, tried getting lower matches.
Feel like an animal that smells blood tonight, want to hit them even harder tomorrow. The shops worked out really well today, was in them for a few mins tonight and will again when passing in the morning, only takes 2 mins.
Well done to everyone, sounds like we all hit them hard today!
+0Well done guys, I’m £118 up with £175 in free bets to convert tomorrow. Pretty happy with that as after cashing in free bets that’s just over £250. £200 was my target.
I did the Ladbrokes offer in store today on the first race and the subsequent 2nd place refunds. Anyone can do the first race offer (refund if fav wins) but the 2nd place refunds limited to those with grid cards.
Curious @Dan87 what shop offers have you done? I popped in Coral and Hills and could only see faller insurance if you have a connect card in Coral and the refund of the Mullens 4 won in Hills. Not a Paddy or Fred near me so don know if they had anything.
+0made a grand total of £29.03. slightly disappointed with that lol
+0I made 170 quid profit today so very pleased with that.
+0I had a great day after a bad start with Min.
I had 4 winners including Annie Power and Mineela Rocco and Un Temps pour Tout and cleared well over £1,400 in profit.
Looking to place a grand on the Favourite in the 1st race tomorrow and then a lump on Sprinter Sacre.
Life is good again and if I can get to £3,000 I can clear off one of my credit cards at last.
If I back £1,000 on the fav with Sky I get my money back right ?
+0£1400 matched betting??
+0Not sure if funny or boring troll, Johnson strikes again
+0???
+0Mr Crisp has a team of minimum wage workers all signed up to all the bookies doing his matched betting with his float to be getting that return I reckon. Either that or he had some spectacularly well picked punts with his free bets.
Didn’t know they had wifi under bridges.
+0Mr Crisp is my star pupil. I am proud of him. Couldn’t even understand the blog yesterday but now look at him!
