Apollo Bet 8/1 Leicester to beat West Ham
-
Am I right in thinking that I would back (£5 at 1.95) and lay (£4.83 at 2.04) resulting in a £0.27 loss. Then if Leicester win, I would get around £35 as a free bet or if they don’t win, I will get £5 as a free bet. So I just need to hope Leicester win or is there a better way to tackle it? Thanks a lot.

thanks for posting this, i have not signed up to apollo yet, i’m sure there is a way to guarantee more money on this – maybe someone with more experience can post to show how. i used the risk free calculator and put 30 in the cashback box and back odds of 9 (8-1) and lay of 2.04 which shows £32+ guaranteed profit – not sure if my thinking is correct though! hopefully someone more experienced can take a look at the best way to take this offer 🙂
+0maybe i should have put 5 in the cashback box which gives £19.41 profit – at back odds 9 and lay 2.04 – is this correct?
+0I wouldn’t put in 9 in the back odds.
And I wouldn’t put in 5 as cash back. You get a £5 free bet if you lose so that is equivalent to £4. So put in £4.
Same idea for the back odds. What are the regular back odds? So if you bet £5 and win then you get paid as normal and the diff is paid in free bets which isnt the same value as real money. So would have to recalculate the odds. So if it’s £5 @ 1.83 boosted to 9.0. 5*9=45. 5*1.83=9.15. So the diff paid in free bets means 35.85 in free bets which worth £28.64 after extraction. So your £5 returns 28.64+9.15=37.83. Effectively 7.56 odds.
+0I put risk free bet in calculator. 4 for cash back and 7.59 for back odds.
Bet £5 @ “8/1”.
Lay £16.64 @ 2.06.If win then you return your stake play 4.75£ profit +35.25 in free bets to make up the enhanced odds. You lose 17.64 in smarkets. So 4.75 + 0.8*35.25 – 17.64=15.31.
If your bet loses then your up 16.64 minus commission plus £5 free bet. But down £5 original stake. So 16.64*0.98 + 5*0.8 -5=15.31.
I think.
