Stake Sizes
-
Hi guys,
I’m going through a heavy hit of gubbings and stake restrictions. I only really do EPs and 2UPs as I can’t be bothered with lots of admin and I can keep an eye over the day while doing my day job. I made the mistake of not mugging my accounts enough, so I’ve learned that lesson for the future. But I also think that I’ve gone too hard on the stake sizes. Any thoughts on where the limit is, I am at £75ew in general. I was thinking of moving to a sliding scale depending on the odds… thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks.

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

You could try a sliding scale, though it would probably also help to mix things up a bit. If you’re just hitting extra place races and 2UP football matches, that may draw unwanted attention.
I think many people stick at around the £50 mark, but there are no guarantees where gubbings are concerned.
An important thing with stake sizes is not increasing them too quickly as the bookmaker may consider you a problem gambler and restrict your account. Instead, try and build your stakes up in increments over a period of time.
I hope that helps.
