BetUK – Stake restrictions

Just in time for Cheltenham, I’ve started getting a “Stake too high” message when trying to place bets with BetUK. I have a “Bet £25, get £10 free bet” offer I want to use, but I’m currently being limited to a stake of £1.92!

Live Chat were no help, they say there’s nothing wrong with my account and that at least I should have an option to send the bet for approval (I don’t).

Anyone else experienced this and is there a way around it?

Why are we still seeing gold cup and other long outdated offers?

I know, right? Website management is not their strong point, and the whole site is messy and horrible to navigate.

It used to be that their offers made up for that. Now the issues have extended to my account and it’s made the whole service effectively unusable for me.

It looks like the platform has set a betting limit on your account, which limits the amount you can bet. This is usually done so that users do not make large, potentially risky bets.
