William Hill Higher 5…first race each day
-
Same offer as high 5 except money back is on all losing bets if the winner wins by 5 lengths or more.
Applies to first race each day with all other Cheltenham races being regular high 5.
Nice addition to the offers so far 🙂

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Actually not sure how good the High 5 offer will be at Cheltenham…the races are so competitive in general.
Just done a bit of research and in 2016 only 5/28 races would have hit the offer and the year before 7/27
+0the majority of those i expect were won by short prices and in lesser run fields
no point doing the offer in handicaps or more competitive races
all you need to do is hit at least 2 over the 4 days for nearly the full free bet
any way matchie thought you were gubbed
+0and thats for the win only, so hopefully sneak a few £25 back for second or the higher 5 promotion
+0Higher 5 is just first race of each day. Even less likely to happen with those type races, but if u get low enough ql then no harm
+0High 5 is normally a gold mine but I don’t think I will even bother at Cheltenham except for a couple of races where there is a short price fav and a small field.
There will be too much other low hanging fruit.
+0Supreme – Tuesday
2016 Altior – 7L
2015 Douvan – 4.5L
2014 Vautour – 6LNeptune (now Baring Bingham) – Wednesday
2016 Yorkhill – 1.75L
2015 Windsor Park – 3.75L
2014 Faugheen – 4.5LJLT – Thursday
2016 Black Hercules – 3L
2015 Vautour – 15L
2014 Taquin Du Seuil – 0.75LTriumph – Friday
2016 Ivanovich Gorbatov – 1.25L
2015 Peace And Co – Neck
2014 Tiger Roll – 3.25LSo last 12 races it has come in 3 times, with also two 4.5
I expect yorkhill could really dominate the JLT this year
+0Sorry I wasnt questioning the value of the higher 5 promo, more than high 5 i general as bbobb says. I prefer my fruit low hanging and juicy
And im back in the game Marv BOOMAGE
+0I suppose you could back a few in the race with tight matches then bet on the winning distance being less than 5L.
+0So if you were to back 4 horses on same race and they all lose, you’d get 4 x 25 fb then… Not read the terms mind.
+0Looks that way. Extract from terms:
No Lose Concession, paid as a free bet:
One free bet, per horse, per customer will be paid, up to a maximum of £/€25.
Free bets will be the value of total stake minus total returns. If total returns are larger than the total stake, no free bet will be granted.
If a customer has more than one bet on that selection, all stakes and returns will be accumulated and the free bet based on total stakes less total returns. One free bet per horse, per customer. Not one free bet per horse, per customer, per race.
+0Problem being if u back 4 horses and you have the winner…you lose all the free bets as your total returns probably exceed total stake FACT
+0Where is that FACT in the T&Cs?
+0“Free bets will be the value of total stake minus total returns. If total returns are larger than the total stake, no free bet will be granted.”
F F F F FACT!
+0Classic case of people being too greedy for there own good. Back one horse and keep fingers crossed
+0Now we get into the nitty gritty though. Does that term refer to total returns for the race? Or just to total returns on the horse that wins? It’s hard to tell.
