New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.
Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.
Sky Bet 13:30 race – bet on the favourite with no lay…get the £25 if it doesn’t come in.
I should have the William Hill £10 free bet plus a £10 bet by text due from them too.
Hopefully Leicester will score a few tonight for a free bet too.
I was also going to try the Betfair scenario as described on the blog on day one.
I’ve also got a few opening offers to do like 138 Bet & 12 Bet.
If anything is left over see if there is an opportunity to underlay on William Hill.+0I too will be backing Min with Sky Bet and not laying as I am very confident he’ll win that race, if not, as you say £25 free bet to claw majority of the loss. I’ll back and lay him at William Hill though and also use my £10 free bet as an each way punt on Tombstone.
At Ladbrokes I’ll back and lay Alitor.
188 bet also have a good offer but it requires a big float at bookie and exchange which may not be possible if we’re on everything else.
+0I have 7 bookie’s I’m focusing on.
So on the first race will probably back and lay Min on Coral (to qualify for Mullins offer) and 188Bet (to qualify for 25% losses offer).
Back and lay the 2nd fav Altior on Will Hill and BetBright for money back if second.
Back and lay Buveu d’air on Betfair (3 free bets) and BetStars (money back 2nd or 3rd) and Ladbrokes (money back if fav wins).
Of course this all depends on the back/lay odds but if I can get good matches on those it will be ideal for my chances of getting a bunch of free bets.
Might punt a couple of free bets that I already earned from Hill and Coral on some of the other runners if they look like value.
Will also have £1 on Min @ 50/1 on BetBright (their welcome offer).
Continue the day that way more or less.
EDIT: Actually probably do Min on either Will or BetBright as well just to cover myself if he finishes 2nd otherwise I think I’m too heavily invested in him there.
+0For day 1 Im going to use the 188bet offer (25% refund on losses) in conjunction with bet365 4/1 offer and also the betfair 3/1 offer, which i gives you 75 in free bets if u back a winner.
If you back and lay a 4/1+ horse at bet365 for 50 and the same horse at betfair for 25. Then back and lay the same horse at 188 for as much as you can afford up 750.
If the horse wins you get 50 risk free bet at bet365 + 75 in free bets at betfair. so assuming your qualifying losses are reasonable should be at least 80 in profit.
If the horse does not win you get 25% refund on your 188 stake (personally I have 2k in my exchange so hopefully can back a 4/1 horse with 500) and get a 100 refund, which after wagering once in addition to my qualifying losses + commission will be around 70.
If anyone can see any pit falls with this approach please let me know…
+0Hi guys,
First time I’m thinking of a bit of strategy behind my free bets, and offers available and would appreciate your assistance in what you would do?
I currently have for Day 1
Coral – £20 free bet
WH – £10 free bet
Plan on doing the Sky 1.30 offer.Looking at it, i think it would make sense to maximise my free bets and the sky offer on the 1.30, but whats your thoughts? Any other offers out there you think would maximise my profits?
+0Tombstone is presently 15/15.5 at Ladbrokes for anyone looking for an early bet on their offer in the 1.30 tomorrow.
+0Also think its important to post the times when our qualifying bets can be placed from i.e be valid for the offers:
Sky Bet – Anytime up until race
Ladbrokes – Anytime up until race
William Hill – After 5.30pm the day before the race
188Bet – Midnight up until race
BetBright – As always with BetBright its very unclear, it says antepost bets do not count but antepost can mean anything (usually before 10am on the day before the race but differs). May want to play safe and do it on the day as BetBright love to screw you when possible.
BetStars – Anytime up until race
+0Betstars is bets placed Ante Post only
+0Really charlie? Thats lame.
+0unfortunately yes. I was going to there Cheltenham offer until I saw that.
+0Im not sure thats the case

Max one Free Bet per customer per race.
Max refund $/£/€10 per customer per race.

Free Bets will be credited within three hours.
Bets placed with Free Bets will not qualify.
Free Bet can be used on any BetStars market. The Free Bet cannot be used on each way (E/W) bets.
Free Bet will expire after seven days.+0Im not sure as I have never done a Ante post bet.
but I just grabbed this of googleAnte Post is a phrase used for bets placed at least a day in advance of the event. It’s commonly used in horse racing when bets are placed before the overnight declaration stage (usually 10am on the day before the race).
+0Would it be possible to edit the initial post to have all the offers in it?
Also grouping the guaranteed offers and the potentials?
+0Cant edit now Dan. You should be renamed Demanding Dan 😛
+0Charlie it says in those terms Ante post and win each way markets so id say either is fine.
