Friend of a “Friend” does matched betting for me

  • So for a while a guy who my friend knows has been doing matched betting for a few people. He has them open multiple bank accounts and once each card has been used it is reported as lost/stolen. I think he does this just to take advantage of sign up bonuses, I’ve heard of gnoming but how is it he’s able to continue opening multiple accounts from many different cards to get sign up offers? Is it illegal what he’s doing and should I stop him? He’s making roughly £6,000 monthly and have a 40/60 split in his favour.

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I try to avoid advising on multi-accounting as it’s a grey area.

I think the bottom line is if you’re uncomfortable being a part of his activity, you can and probably should remove yourself from the situation.

Saw an article the other week about a guy with 1000 betting accounts.
